Transformational Thought for November 20 2010

What amazes me about life is that when you conspire to let go of what you have been, so tightly hanging on too, the process and the results really do appear. I had decided to reestablish a spiritual practice called the 15 Minute Miracle, and in doing so have experienced a profound shift in my attitude. This week we have been talking about gratitude, next week it will be manifestation and finally forgiveness (contemplating and journaling 5 minutes on each). What has been so powerful for me this week has been associated with being grateful for my new path, my new journey, my new life. But what I have not shared is that I kept feeling like something was missing, that I wasn’t being truly authentic, or that the whole story wasn’t being told. Then, what hit me this morning made it all clear.

When you conspire to let go of your old way of thinking and your old way of living, you can’t hang on to a n y t h i n g that was. You must fully commit, completely to that which is new. In order to make this commitment even more powerful and life changing one must share it boldly and loudly. As my path leads me back to the palaces of higher education, and a place where thoughts have been contemplated for generation, I envision being a part of a new dawn, a new beginning, and a new way of experiencing life. I Am a Spiritual being living a human experience, and I Am here to teach others how to transform their thoughts of what was to what they can become. Let me close with this thought:

“The moment one definitely commits oneself, the Providence moves too. All sorts of thing occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision which no one could have dreamed would have come their way.” W. H. Murray
